WEEK WITHOUT VIOLENCE
ABOUT
Help Us Soar
CBF has taken the leadership role in this community advocacy event promoting a culture of peace and nonviolence making the community a safer place for all. "Champions Advocating Nonviolence" CAN Together we can. CBF Inc., organizes a task force and invites local leadership from organizations to join in the advocacy effort and be makers of Peace and Nonviolence. We work with supporting agencies including School Districts, Law enforcement agencies, youth organizations, civic and religious institutions. Proclamations from the Governor of the state of Arizona and mayors of cities and towns make this event a state-wide occurrence and give credence to the project.
Each year the Peace Poster Poetry contest recognizes the winners as champions of peace. We also place peace poles in the community. Promoting peace is a positive way of life and ensures a safe place for all.
